Vietnam’s Scientific and Technological Electronics and Telecommunications Product Award - REV Award 2021
The award is given to scientific and technological products and solutions in the field of Electronics - Telecommunications in order to honor Vietnamese scientists and research groups at universities, research institutes, and enterprises whose scientific and technological products in the field of electronics - telecommunications have high practical significance, creativity and innovation to serve the development of the country.
Vietnam’s Scientific and Technological Electronics and Telecommunications Product Award (REV Award 2021: https://www.revawards.vn/) is an award organized by the the Radio and Electronics Association of Vietnam under the auspices of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
The examiner council includes many prestigious scientists and managers such as Prof. Dr. Do Trung Ta - Former Minister of Information and Communications (Chairman of the Council), Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Nam - Deputy Director of Military Technical Academy, Dr. Tran Huu Quyen - Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNPT Technology, Dr. Le Ba Tan - Deputy General Director of Viettel Corporation…
This award was given on the occasion of the 24th National Conference on Electronics, Communications and Information Technology (REV-ECIT 2021), which took place on November 18, 2021 at Nguyen Van Dao Hall, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. 03 projects were honored to receive the REV Award 2021 (with no first prize) from the University of Transport and Communications (second prize), University of Technology – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (third prize), Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (Potential Prize). The research group of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Toan - Department of Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Electrical – Electronic Engineering, University of Transport and Communications with the project "SHM system based on organic pressure sensor and technology radio" was honored to receive the Second Prize for typical scientific research at REV Award 2021.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam highly appreciated the efforts of not only the Radio and Electronics Association of Vietnam for organizing this award but also the universities, research institutes, and businesses for having invested in research following the direction of "Make in Vietnam: Innovative thinking and creative practice”.
The REV Award 2021, achieved by the research team of the University of Transport and Communications, contributes to affirming the University's brand in training and scientific research and technology transfer of a multi-disciplinary university research oriented. The awarding event was reported by many media agencies such as VTV, VTC, VOV, .. thereby contributing to promoting the image of the University to the society.
